THE SPIRIT OF PRINCE CAPTURED ON CAMERA

Some time ago, I told you about paranormal activity that happened on my photoshoot. I was shooting self-portraits with projections of Prince's image. The photos are shot on timer with remote control. So I have no idea what's happening on camera until it's over. To my surprise, my images were filled with light, unlike all my other sets of images. I didn't quite know what to make of the images. They looked so strange, and I knew that they were nothing . . .

PRINCE IN SPIRIT, EVP CAPTURED ON TAPE

I am so very excited to unveil this video to you. Last night, just past midnight, I had the idea to try doing an EVP with Prince. If you don't know what EVP is, it stands for Electronic Voice Phenomenon. It is known in the paranormal community that voices from the other side, though it can not be heard by human ears, it can be detected by machine and recorded.

This takes me back to the days as a teenager, where I listened to paranormal radio shows late at night. I never thought I'd be involved in paranormal . . .

ROSES – EXPERIMENTAL AUDIO TRACK

Just finished off an audio track that I had sitting on the back burner. I recorded the audio some time ago, but never got back to it until today. I never really learned piano, but I still like to sit down with Prince in spirit and work on things together. I have no idea what the notes I'm playing are, I simply channel and record. In the end, we decided to distort the piano recording to give it a whimiscal space age feel to it. I love audio plays. I used to listen to the radio late at night . . .

THE ECSTASY OF ANDREA MAI – SELF-PORTRAITS WITH PRINCE

This week I did another photo shoot with Prince's projection. I've been dying to do one with his LoveSexy album cover. This time I got a lot from the same set. It was hard to choose the best. I had 45 selected images for editing from a completely filled SD card. And then I narrowed it down some more. Until I decided on the ones I'm showing you here.

MY PARANORMAL PHOTO SHOOT WITH PRINCE IN SPIRIT

As a photographer, the one thing I am most bummed about is that I will never get to photograph Prince in person. I would find myself saying to Prince in spirit, "I want to take your picture". He kinda laughs at me for this. Little did I know, he would find some way to it happen.
